Família Ramos (Branch Family) – construction and puppeteering

In this workshop, we invite people to construct anthropomorphic or zoomorphic figures (little men or animals) with what is left from trees' pruning. Branches, twigs and sticks are the raw material to build these bodies we will conceive.

Joints – inspired by the tools and utensils that have been with us for millennia, we will join these twigs and make them move.

In the last part of the workshop, we will discover and devise a little bit more about these creatures and we will handle them, as puppets.

How do they move? How do they get along? What do they wish?

Then each member of the Branch Family will live with the family of its creator.
