"Querido Monstro" is a tale by Valter Hugo Mãe. And it is the motto for 5 young artists to get together. It is the vocative of a letter never sent. It is a pathway inside a black box. It is a burden on our backs. It is the guardian of the soft belly where we can lay our head. It is an autobiographical log. It is a code enabling to talk about the past and the future. It is sharing. It is sincerity. It is the child that still lives in us. It is the one who shows us that growing up is as hard as absolutely beautiful. It is music. It is dance. It is text. It is light. It is the projection of imaginaries on the wall, on the ceiling, on our personal objects, in our hearts.
Filipa Santos. Dancer. "I found a book with love poems."
Joana Brito. Actress. "It was urgent for us to try."
Mariana Fonseca. Actress. Designer. "Little girl with giant paper flowers."
Tiago Araújo. Porto. "I almost told my parents."
Vasco Temudo. Porto. "A good absurd provides the clues"
