José Carlos Alegria founded Era Uma Vez, Teatro de Marionetas that is now celebrating its 25th anniversary. In the beginning of the millennium, his son Carlos Miguel Meira Alegria joined the company and in 2006 his daughter Ana Margarida Meira Alegria followed the same path. The company has over 20 show on scene.
